GHIRARDELLI SQUARE

Ghirardelli Square, old stomping grounds for my wife and I. You can see by the clock tower it's 11:10 in the am.

Here's a view of the West Plaza with lots of tourists...missing. This place is usually packed even in the morning.

One of the requirements of this job, cleaning the emptied vats of chocolate, is you have to hate chocolate. Otherwise, some of the profits would end up in employees' tummies.

A view from Ghirardelli Plaza looking toward Hyde Pier.

Just a couple of blocks down the street this guy is thinking the same thing, "Where is everybody?"

Perhaps it's the fact that this is Super Bowl Sunday....a great time to visit San Francisco....or probably anywhere in the U.S. for that matter.

Thanks for stopping by.
