DOWN BY THE RIVER

Around this time every year I take a trek down to the San Gabriel river in the Georgetown area. The light is always lovely in November.

Most are taken with the camera on a tripod, UV filter removed but adding a polarizer to control reflections. Also used a timer to avoid touching the camera.

I love these rock formations, evidence of millions of years of water erosion.

Set the camera to aperture priority at f8 because this lens (18-135mm) seems to be darn sharp around 7.1 to 8. Camera used - Nikon D7000.
