NATALIE BEN AND THE GREEK

Posting a couple of images from my visit to the Blanton this morning. I really went there to see Natalie Frank's exhibit - which is really really good by the way. She may not be for all tastes so check out her stuff on line first. Ms. Frank's exhibit The Brothers Grimm was impressive.  Runs through November 15 and the museum is free on Thurdays.

Always one of my favorite stops at the Blanton is Ben Shahn's "From That Day On" in the Deante and Jay Stein Gallery.

The Belvedere Torso attributed to Apollonios, Greek. This is a cast of the original found in the Vatican. Wonderful placement for lighting, natural and man made.

Thanks for stopping by.
